Scope

This standard applies to residential and similar equipment with a rated voltage of 440 V AC or less (between lines) or 300 V AC or less (to ground), and a rated current of 150 A, including power supply voltage dependent and independent types. Specifies earth leakage circuit breakers without current protection devices (hereinafter referred to as earth leakage circuit breakers).
