Scope
This standard specifies the X-ray photographic inspection method and technical requirements for welds of pressurized water reactor fuel rods (hereinafter referred to as fuel rods). This standard applies to the inspection of fuel rod annular welds and seal weld defects. The principles and methods of this standard can be applied to the inspection of circular welds and sealing weld defects of control rods, burnable poison rods and neutron source rods, and can also be used as a reference for the inspection of circular weld defects of guide tube components. But we must pay attention to distinguish the different materials.
