GB 14536.11-1996 Automatic electrical controls for household and similar use.Particular requirements for electricaly perated modor starting relays (English Version)
This chapter in GB/T 14536.1 is replaced by the following content. This standard applies to automatic controllers for the starting windings of single-phase motors for household and similar equipment. This standard applies to the inherent safety of starting relays for motors and the operating values, operating times and operating procedures related to equipment safety. This standard does not apply to general purpose relays and contactors and electric starters within the scope of IEC 158 and IEC 947. This standard also does not apply to mechanical timers and mechanically operated electric starters. This standard applies to those manual controls that are electrically or mechanically combined with a starter relay. Requirements for manual switches not forming part of a starter relay are contained in IEC 1058-1. This standard applies to starter relays with a rated voltage not exceeding 440V DC1], not exceeding 660V AC, and a rated current not exceeding 63A. This standard does not take into account the response value of the automatic action depending on the method of installation of the starting relay in the equipment. If the response value is meaningful for the protection of the user and the surrounding environment, the value specified by the corresponding equipment standard or specified by the manufacturer applies.
