GB 14536.19-2006 Automatic electrical controls for household and similar use Particular requirements for electrically operated gas valves, including mechanical requirements (English Version)
This chapter of GB 14536.1 is replaced by the following: Replace: 1.1 This part applies to electric gas valves used in household and similar equipment or used together with these equipment, these equipment use electricity and gaseous fuels, such as those intended for gas combustion equipment Combination of artificial gas, natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas. This section also applies to electric gas valves using NIC and PTC thermistors. Additional requirements for them are contained in Appendix J. 1.1.1 This section applies to the inherent safety of electric gas valves, to operating values, operating times and operating procedures related to the safety of the equipment, and to electric gas Testing of valve arrangements. This section also applies to controllers used in appliances within the scope of GB 4706.1. This section does not apply to electric gas valves intended for industrial use. Electric gas valves for non-general domestic use but can still be used in public places, such as non-professionals in shops, light industrial factories and farms, are also included in the scope of this standard. Electrically operated gas valves complying with this standard still require further testing of the mechanical properties of the valve. 1.1.2 This standard applies to manual controls that are electrically and/or mechanically combined with electric gas valves. This section does not apply to electric gas valves whose nominal connection size exceeds DN150. This section applies to electric gas valves with a maximum working pressure of up to 400kPa (4 bar). Scope In the following, the term "valve" refers to an electric gas valve (including prime mover and valve body). 1.1.3 Requirements for electric starters in combination with gas valves submitted to the laboratory are covered by this standard. The requirements for independent electric starters are included in GB 14536.16. GB 14536.16 gives the special requirements for electric starters. 1.1.4 This standard also applies to valves that are part of a system or that are mechanically combined with a multifunction controller. 1.1.5 This section does not apply to valves energized by thermoelectric energy generated by thermocouples or thermopiles inserted in the gas flame. 1.2 Vacancies. 1.3 Not applicable. 1.4 Vacancies.
