- Normative reference documents 2 This standard specifies the model, structure and material requirements, test methods, inspection rules, quality certification documents, signs, and packaging, transportation and storage of gas surge tanks for urban gas (hereinafter referred to as * surge tanks). . This standard applies to surge tanks whose inlet working pressure is not greater than 10.0 MPa and whose working temperature range is greater than -20 "less than or equal to 60'C. This standard does not apply to underground surge tanks.
