This standard specifies the structural type, model, technical requirements, test and inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, protection, packaging, storage and transportation of copper valves for gas pipelines. This standard is applicable to coal gas, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and their mixtures with a nominal pressure not greater than PN25, a nominal size DN8~DN100, an operating temperature -20°C~65°C, and a hydrogen sulfide content not greater than 20 mg/m3. Gas and gas pipelines use copper ball valves and stop valves (hereinafter referred to as valves).
