Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product markings and accompanying documents, packaging, transportation and storage of aluminum alloy doors and windows. This standard applies to windows and pedestrian doors for exterior walls and interior partitions of buildings with manual opening and closing operations, as well as vertical roof windows. This standard does not apply to skylights, non-vertical roof windows, roller shutter doors and windows, and revolving doors, as well as special doors and windows such as fire doors and windows, explosion-proof doors and windows, escape doors and windows, smoke exhaust windows, and radiation-proof shielded doors and windows.
