Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements, operating procedures and result judgments for the detection of Salmonella, Shigella and diarrhea-causing Escherichia coli in food by the Enterobacteriaceae phage diagnostic method. This standard is applicable to the inspection of various foods and food poisoning, and also applicable to the inspection of enteric Salmonella and Shigella of food workers.
