This document specifies the terms and definitions, units of measurement, basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, labels, marks, packaging, transportation and storage of electronic balances. This document is applicable to the design and manufacture of electronic balances (hereinafter referred to as balances) with electromagnetic force balance, resistance strain, inductive, capacitive and other weighing sensors as the core components, and whose verification division value is not less than 1 mg. This document does not apply to vacuum balances, thermal balances, remote control balances, automatic balances, nor does it apply to trade settlement balances and balances manufactured by agreement.
