This standard specifies the terms and definitions, units of measurement, basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of electronic balances. This standard is applicable to the design and manufacture of electronic balances (hereinafter referred to as balances) whose verification division value is not less than 1mg. This standard does not apply to vacuum balances, thermal balances, remote control balances, automatic balances and balances manufactured by agreement.
