This standard specifies the content and format of environmental impact assessment documents for nuclear technology utilization construction projects. This standard is applicable to units engaged in the utilization of nuclear technology (including production, sales, and use of radioisotopes and ray devices) that prepare environmental impact assessment documents when building new projects (including relocation), reconstruction, and expansion. In particular, for nuclear technology utilization and construction projects that require separate submission of radiation safety assessment documents, the relevant content of safety analysis can be appropriately simplified when preparing environmental impact assessment documents.
