Scope

This standard specifies the overall requirements for the site selection, construction, and operation of solid waste recycling projects, as well as the technical requirements for pollution prevention and control and monitoring requirements for the recycling process. This standard applies to existing, newly built, renovated, and expanded solid waste recycling projects, and can be used as the technical basis for the environmental impact assessment, design, construction, acceptance, and post-completion operation and management of solid waste recycling construction projects. This standard is the general technical requirements for pollution prevention and control in the solid waste recycling process; if there are specific standards for solid waste recycling, the special standards shall be implemented.
