Scope

This document gives the contact strength limit of the tooth surface and the bending strength limit of the tooth root, and provides recommended values. This document also specifies the technical requirements for material quality and heat treatment, and explains their influence on the strength limit. The recommended values in this document are applicable to ISO6336 2.
