This standard specifies the classification, composition, channel composition, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules of electronically controlled pedestrian entrances and exits. This standard applies to electronically controlled access gates installed at pedestrian entrances for the purpose of safety precautions and used to control and/or guide people to pass according to rules. Other special-purpose access devices can be implemented with reference.
