This standard specifies the general provisions, classification, approval, safety inspection before operation, supervision during operation and completion confirmation of thermal (hot) operations in offshore oil facilities. This standard applies to thermal (fire) operations during the production, maintenance, reconstruction and expansion of petroleum facilities in the internal waters, territorial waters, contiguous zones, exclusive economic zones, continental shelves of the People's Republic of China and other sea areas under the jurisdiction of the People's Republic of China. . Thermal (fire) operations during the production, maintenance, reconstruction, and expansion of petroleum facilities in inland waters may be performed with reference to this standard.
