Scope
This part of DL/T 860 specifies methods for real-time and non-real-time data exchange using local area networks by mapping ACSI to MMS and ISO/IEC 8802-3 frames. Specifies that MMS services and protocols run on a fully compatible set of OSI and TCP communication protocols. MMS supports both centralized and distributed architecture data exchange. This section includes the exchange of real-time data indications, control operations, and report notifications. This part specifies the mapping of ACSI (Abstract Communications Services Interface, DL/T 860.72) objects and services to MMS (Manufacturing Message Specification, ISO 9506) and ISO/IEC 8802-3 frames. This section also specifies the mapping of real-time information to non-MMS protocols. The semantics of this protocol are specified in DL/T 860.72. This section contains protocol syntax, specifications, mapping to ISO/IEC 8802-3 frame format, and specific methods for using ISO/IEC 8802-3. The mapping from ACSI to MMS specifies how to use MMS concepts, objects and services to implement ACSI concepts, objects and services. This mapping enables interoperability between functions implemented by different manufacturers. This part specifies the standard method for data exchange using ISO 9506 services. For ACSI services specified in DL/T 860.72 that are not mapped to MMS, this section will specify other protocols. This section uses an object-oriented approach to describe the actual device in terms of its externally visible data and behavior. The objects themselves are abstract and can be applied in a wider range of applications. This application has exceeded the application scope of power automation communication. This section provides mapping of objects and services specified in DL/T 860.72, DL/T 860.73 and DL/T 860.74.
