This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and markings, packaging, storage and transportation, safety and environmental protection requirements for bentonite used in drilling fluid testing, bentonite used in drilling fluid expansion testing, and evaluation soil used in drilling fluid. This standard is applicable to bentonite for drilling fluid test slurry preparation, bentonite for drilling fluid expansion test, and evaluation soil for drilling fluid test.
