Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of low ambient temperature air source heat pump water heaters (hereinafter referred to as water heaters). This standard applies to heat pump water machines that are driven by electric motors, use vapor compression refrigeration cycle, use air as the heat source, provide hot water for the purpose, and can produce hot water under low ambient temperature conditions.
