Scope: This part specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, test methods and inspection rules of motor-driven chilled water (heat pump) units (hereinafter referred to as "units") that use vapor compression refrigeration cycles for industrial or commercial and similar purposes , signs, packaging and storage, etc. This part applies to central air conditioners or chilled water units for processes with a cooling capacity of 50 kW or more, and also applies to units that dissolve chemical agents in water to carry cooling (heat) in order to prevent freezing caused by a drop in outdoor air temperature. Units driven by engines (diesel engines or gas engines) or turbine engines (steam turbines or gas turbines) can be implemented by reference. This section does not apply to drinking water, beverages and industrial units that do not use water as a cooling (heating) agent.
