Scope
The Basic XML Encoding Rule Set (BASIC-XER) specified in this part of GB/T 16263 can be used to derive a transfer syntax for the types defined in ISO/IEC 8824-1:2008 and ISO/IEC 8824-2:2008 The value of , is also suitable for decoding these transfer syntaxes. This standard also specifies a regular set of XML encoding rules (CXER), which provides constraints on the basic XML encoding rules and produces a unique encoding for any given ASN.1 value. This part further specifies the Extended XML Encoding Rule Set (EXTENDED-XER), further increases the encoder options, and allows the ASN.1 specification to produce multiple encodings through BASIC-XER. This section implicitly indicates that these encoding rules can be used for decoding. The encoding rules stipulated in this part of ISO 10000 are: - used when communicating; - intended to be used in such a situation: when selecting encoding rules, the main concern is to use common XML tools (such as browsers) to display and/or process various values; -- Support for extended abstract syntax by adding added value to the various forms of extensibility described in ISO/IEC 8824-1:2008. This part also specifies the syntax and semantics of XER coded instructions and the rules for their assignment and combination. The XER encoding directive is used to control the EXTENDED-XER encoding of specific ASN.1 types.
