This standard specifies the material, design, manufacturing, inspection and acceptance requirements for spiral plate heat exchangers. This standard applies to detachable and non-detachable spiral plate heat exchangers. Type I spiral plate heat exchangers are non-detachable spiral plate heat exchangers; Type II (blocked) and III (through-type) spiral plate heat exchangers are detachable spiral plate heat exchangers. This standard applies to spiral plate heat exchangers made of carbon steel, low alloy steel, austenitic stainless steel, austenitic-ferritic duplex stainless steel and titanium (titanium alloy). The nominal diameter and design pressure applicable to this standard: a) Type I spiral plate heat exchanger 1) Nominal diameter DN ≤ 2 800mm; 2) Design pressure P ≤ 3.0MPa; 3) Nominal diameter (mm) and design pressure (MPa) The product of is not greater than 3600. b) Type II spiral plate heat exchanger 1) Nominal diameter DN ≤ 1 800mm; 2) Design pressure P ≤ 1.6MPa; 3) The product of nominal diameter (mm) and design pressure (MPa) is not greater than 2 400. c) Type III spiral plate heat exchanger 1) Nominal diameter DN ≤ 2 500mm; 2) Design pressure P ≤ 3.0MPa; 3) The product of nominal diameter (mm) and design pressure (MPa) is not greater than 3 200. Spiral plate heat exchangers that exceed the scope of 1.2, 1.3 or 1.4 can refer to this standard. The applicable design temperature range of this standard is determined according to the allowable operating temperature of the relevant standards for metal materials. When there is a gasket seal, its service temperature should be determined to meet the allowable service temperature of the gasket.
