- This standard specifies the design, manufacturing, inspection and acceptance requirements for spiral plate heat exchangers. This standard applies to removable and non-removable heat exchangers. The nominal diameter and nominal pressure range applicable to this standard: a) Nominal diameter DN ≤ 2200mm; b) Nominal pressure PN ≤ 2.5MPa; c) The product of nominal diameter (mm) and nominal pressure (MPa) shall not exceed 3000. Note: Heat exchangers beyond the above parameter range can also be designed and manufactured with reference to this standard; however, when PN > 4.0MPa, they must be evaluated and approved by the National Boiler and Pressure Vessel Standardization Technical Committee. The design temperature range applicable to this standard: a) The design temperature range of the non-removable heat exchanger is determined according to the allowable use temperature of the steel; b) The design temperature range of the removable heat exchanger is determined according to the allowable use temperature of the gasket.
