- Scope
- This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of marine welded casing (hereinafter referred to as casing). This standard applies to the design, manufacture and acceptance of casings for Class III ship piping systems and some Class I and II piping systems.
