This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, characteristics, product-related information, normal use, installation and transportation conditions, structural and performance requirements, and testing of dry single-plate electromagnetic clutches. This standard applies to ten-type single-plate electromagnetic clutches (hereinafter referred to as clutches) and also applies to ten-type single-plate electromagnetic brakes.
