Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of quartz crucibles for single crystal silicon growth. This standard is applicable to quartz crucibles that use high-purity quartz sand as raw material, are produced by arc method, and are used to grow single crystal silicon materials by Czochralski method.
