- This standard specifies the product classification and labeling, specifications and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, storage and transportation of quartz crucibles for single crystal silicon growth. This standard is applicable to quartz crucibles for the growth of single crystal silicon using high-purity quartz (silicon dioxide) as raw material, produced by arc method, and used for Czochralski growth.
