Scope

This standard specifies the dimensional tolerances of spherical plain bearings manufactured according to GB 9162, GB 9163 and GB 9164, and the chamfer size limit is the same as that specified in GB 274 for rolling bearings. Under the general conditions stipulated in GB 4199, the tolerances of radial spherical plain bearings specified in this standard are applicable to the inner and outer rings after finishing coating, electroplating, splitting and slotting. This standard does not apply to spherical plain bearings for aircraft frames.
