Scope: This standard specifies the external dimensions, tolerances, radial clearance and technical requirements of radial spherical plain bearings. The structural design of the radial spherical plain bearing does not have to completely conform to the structure illustrated in this standard, but the dimensions, tolerances and radial clearance should be consistent with the provisions of this standard. This standard applies to radial spherical plain bearings with different combinations of sliding materials, and is intended for production, inspection and user acceptance by manufacturers. This standard does not apply to radial spherical plain bearings for aircraft frames.
