Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of the dimensional changes of metal powders and reference powders after compaction and sintering under the same conditions (see Chapter 4). This standard is applicable to the determination of three dimensional changes of metal powders (excluding cemented carbide powders) during forming and sintering.
