This part of GB/T 10183 specifies the tolerances in the installation and operating conditions of cranes and their tracks defined in ISO 4306-1. The purpose of putting forward these requirements in this part is to eliminate the overload caused by the normal size or shape deviation of the structure, so as to improve the operation safety of the crane and ensure that each component reaches its expected life. The tolerances specified in this section are limit values. This section does not apply to elastic deformation caused by load effects. In order to achieve the predetermined service performance requirements, other design criteria need to be considered in the design stage to consider these elastic deformations. Specific tolerance values for specific types of cranes are specified in other parts of GB/T 10183.
