This part of GB/T 10183 specifies the tolerances for the installation and operation of cranes and their tracks defined in GB/T 6974.1. The purpose of putting forward these requirements in this part is to eliminate the overload caused by the normal size or shape deviation of the structure, so as to improve the operation safety of the overweight machine and ensure that the components reach their expected life. The tolerances specified in this section are limit values. Elastic deformations due to loading effects are not included. In order to achieve the predetermined service performance requirements, other design criteria need to be considered in the design stage to consider these elastic deformations. Specific tolerance values for specific types of cranes are specified in other parts of GB/T 10183.
