This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, inspection methods, test methods, signs and packaging of electronic digital display micrometers and electronic digital display depth micrometers. This standard applies to electronic digital display micrometers with a resolution of 0.001 mm and a measuring range less than or equal to 50 mm, and electronic digital display depth micrometers with a measuring range up to 300 mm.
