Scope

This standard specifies the performance requirements and test methods for wheeled earth-moving machinery steering systems defined in GB8498. This standard applies to wheeled earth-moving machinery such as tractors, loaders, dump trucks, self-propelled scrapers, excavators, graders and bulldozers with a driving speed exceeding 20km/h.
