Scope

This standard stipulates the grade, type, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, transportation, storage and use regulations of chain slings for port loading and unloading (hereinafter referred to as chain slings). This standard is applicable to chain slings manufactured by welding method for port hoisting machinery connected with lifting weights.
