- This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of urea-formaldehyde, phenolic and melamine-formaldehyde resins for wood adhesives and paper impregnation. This standard applies to various wood adhesives and synthetic resins for paper impregnation synthesized by polycondensation reaction using formaldehyde and urea or phenol and melamine as the main raw materials; A synthetic resin that substitutes phenol for part of the polycondensation of phenol. This standard does not apply to latex phenolic resins.
