- Scope
- This European Standard specifies the requirements for the conformity testing and marking of hand-operated torque wrenching tools for the controlled tightening of screws and nuts. It also specifies the minimum requirements for declarations of conformity for hand-operated torque screwdrivers. This document applies to hand-operated torque wrenches classified as indicating torque wrenches (Type I) and triggering torque wrenches (Type II).
