- This standard specifies the structure, mechanical and physical properties and electrical performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking packaging of copper core polyolefin insulated moisture barrier polyolefin sheathed urban communication cables. This standard applies to copper core polyolefin insulated moisture barrier polyolefin sheathed local communication cables. The cables specified in this standard can be used to transmit audio signals and digital signals of 2B + 10D rates of ISDN and below, and can also be used to transmit digital signals of 2048kbit/s or analog signals below 150kHz. The characteristics and technical requirements of various types of cables are specified in GB/T13849.2~13849.5.
