Scope
This part of GB/T 13849 specifies the structure, mechanical and physical properties and electrical performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking packaging of copper core polyolefin insulated moisture barrier polyolefin sheathed urban communication cables. This part applies to the manufacture, acceptance and use of copper core polyolefin insulated moisture barrier polyolefin sheathed urban communication cables. The cables specified in this part can be used to transmit audio signals and digital signals at and below the 2B+D rate of the ISDN, and can also be used to transmit digital signals at 2048 kbit/s or analog signals below 150 kHz. Under certain conditions, it can also be used to transmit digital signals above 2 048 kbit/s.
