This standard specifies the model and structural dimensions, technical requirements, inspection rules, test methods, acceptance, packaging, transportation and storage of disc-shaped suspended composite porcelain or glass insulator string components for high-voltage DC lines. This standard applies to disc-shaped suspended composite porcelain or glass insulators (hereinafter referred to as insulators) for DC overhead power lines with a nominal voltage higher than 1500V.
