GB/T 1001.1-2021 Insulators for overhead lines with a nominal voltage above 1 000V—Part 1:Ceramic or glass insulator units for a.c.systems—Definitions,test methods and acceptance criteria (English Version)
This document defines the terms and characteristics of porcelain or glass insulator components for overhead lines (hereinafter referred to as insulators), and specifies the conditions, test methods and judgment criteria for checking the specified values of the characteristics. This document is applicable to the definitions, test methods and judgment criteria of porcelain and glass insulators for AC overhead power and traction lines with nominal voltage higher than 1000V and frequency not exceeding 100 Hz, and insulators for DC overhead power traction lines. This document also applies to definitions, test methods and criteria for insulator string components, rigid insulators for overhead lines and insulators of similar construction for substation applications. This document does not apply to insulators that constitute electrical components, or components in electrical structures, and the definitions, test methods and criteria for post insulators included in GB/T 8287 (all parts). The test methods (for example, wet operating impulse voltage) and acceptance criteria for insulator strings and insulator groups are in GB/T1001.2-2010
