Scope

This standard specifies the type and size of double arc gear hobs. This standard is applicable to integral double-arc gear hobs with a normal modulus of 1.5 to 10 mm. Hobs manufactured according to this standard are used to process double-arc cylindrical gears whose basic tooth profile conforms to the provisions of GB12759.
