Scope

This part of GB/T 20139 specifies the test procedures required for the assessment of the adjusted heat resistance of the components of the electrical insulation system (EIS) of the determined class. This section applies to EIS using random winding electrical devices. The test procedure in this part is to compare the performance of the insulation system to be evaluated with the reference insulation system. The reference insulation system shall have proven operating experience according to IEC 60505, or it shall have been evaluated according to a test procedure in the IEC 61857 series of standards.
