Scope
This standard specifies the classification and code, order content, size, shape, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificates of high-carbon chromium bearing steel. This standard applies to the production of high-carbon chromium bearing steel for bearing rings and rolling elements, hot-rolled and forged round bars, round wire rods, and cold-drawn round bars (straight or disc) (hereinafter referred to as steel). After negotiation between the supplier and the buyer, other types and specifications of steel or billets can also be supplied, and the specific requirements should be specified in the contract.
