This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and code, size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, ordering content, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marks and quality certificates of steel wire for bead. This standard is applicable to tempered round steel wires (hereinafter referred to as "steel wires") for tire beads.
