Scope

This standard specifies the environmental parameters and severity levels of mechanical products in hot and humid areas. This standard applies to the two climate zones of "humid heat" and "sub-humid heat" stipulated in GB4797.1 "Natural Environmental Conditions Temperature and Humidity of Electrical and Electronic Products". General-purpose mechanical products used include agricultural machinery, internal combustion engines, construction machinery, mining machinery, heavy machinery, lifting and transportation machinery, petrochemical general machinery, electrical products, instruments, machine tools, general parts, etc. This standard does not apply to the special environmental conditions of high-concentration chemical corrosive media, ships, and mine products.
