Scope

This part specifies the corrosive environmental conditions and severity levels for mechanical products. This part is applicable to mechanical products fixed on the ground in industrial production environments such as machinery, petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, and metallurgy. This section does not apply to products used in special environmental conditions such as explosive hazardous media, oceans, and ships.
