- This standard specifies the design requirements for auxiliary control points of nuclear power plants. This standard covers the functional selection, design and organization of human-machine interfaces. This standard also specifies requirements for procedures for system verification and approval of auxiliary control point designs. This standard is applicable to auxiliary control points of nuclear power plants whose preliminary design starts after the standard is published.
