Scope

This standard specifies the test equipment, samples, test procedures and result calculations for determining the width of wood rings and latewood percentage. This standard is applicable to the determination of the average width of each annual ring on the cross-section of wood and the percentage of latewood in each annual ring of wood with obvious differences between early and late wood.
