- This standard specifies the test equipment, test specimens, test procedures and result calculations for the width of wood rings and the rate of old age. This standard is applicable to the determination of the average width of each complete annual ring on the cross-section of wood and the percentage of latewood in each complete annual ring of wood with obvious differences between early and late wood.
