Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the hiding power of white paints and light-colored paints, and the hiding power refers to the coverage rate when the contrast ratio must be 98%. This standard is applicable to pigmented paint films with γ greater than 70 in the tristimulus value, not applicable to fluorescent and metallic paints.
